The Heifers were easy to handle both in the crush for weighing and during the mothering up process. All heifers have been through an induction process which includes education of electric fences, dogs and horses.

An outstanding line of Angus Heifers with Angus Calves at foot. These Heifers were purchased from the Timor Cattle Company at Nundle in April and calved out at Newstead. These Heifers were exceptionally quite and easy to handle having been through an extensive induction program. All mothering was done in the paddock on Horse back to reduce stress. The Heifers are showing good milk and doing a great job on their calves. They weighed 406kgs at assessment and will power ahead on good nutrition. The Calves are by low birth weight bulls from Eaglehawk and Hazeldean studs and are between two and twelve weeks old. There are 10 bull calves and 8 heifer calves in this lot and weighed 40kgs at assessment. Please note that the Vendor has 3 lots of 18*18 Heifers and Calves in this sale, which could be purchased as 1,2 or 3 decks of Heifers and Calves. A rare opportunity to purchase Breeders with all their life in front of them.
