The heifers handled well through the yards, and only a couple got a little upset going into and exiting the crush with a couple of dogs just baulking them.

This lot of medium to large Angus and Angus cross heifers with their first CAF by a Pines Pastoral bull, are quiet, and show strong maternal instinct. The heifers are holding their condition with their calf and the calves all appear healthy and strong. A good young group of females to start a herd, or to add to an existing mob, with all their breeding lives ahead of them. One heifer has some scarring on her eye which doesn't seem to affect her, in fact she slipped out of the yards on exiting the crush, and we were able to just coax her back through the narrow gate she left from as she was so quiet, see photo.
