A nice line of one-mark Rennylea Angus blood 2nd calvers, with Rennylea sired calves at foot. These cows are mostly medium in frame, with a half a dozen smaller frame cows throughout. Cows have carried a calf through a very cold Winter in the Southern Tablelands which has contributed to their store condition, however they have shown very good weight gains since calving. They are producing a good supply of milk, despite lacking condition, which is nourishing the young, even drop of calves, which were marked & vaccinated at assessment. Cows are presenting in store condition & displaying a little rub in the coat. Having access to only a short pick of dried-off feed, they offer the purchaser a good opportunity to put considerable weight on quickly, through compensatory weight gains with access to more abundant pastures. Ideal units to improve by adding weight, & in turn, value to both cow & calf alike. Vendor is offering another 2 lines of very good quality first calvers this sale also.
