Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Almost all Score 1 cows and range in store to backward store condition. Would anticipate these cows suitable to travel short to medium distances without a spell. Cows appear strong and every effort will be made to have them qualify to meet all FIT TO LOAD parameters. Transport operator to inspect cattle prior to loading.

Cows were very quiet to handle in all areas of the yards. There was 1 cow that did resent being in the crush but settled once she found the balance of the mob. These had been pregnancy tested last week so that could explain her behavior.

Buyers, here is a deck load of predominantly medium to large frame Angus PTIC cows that present in mainly store to backward store condition. These have had big weaners removed from them in the past couple of months so obviously with them running in forest type country they have become very plain in condition. That being said though, they do have the capacity with the weaners now off them to really gain weight reasonably quickly if they are exposed to improved grazing conditions, either crop or winter herbages. Cows were not mouthed due to inadequate safe handling facilities available however they are still only 4-7 years old so still should be sound. Vendor will fill cows up full of hay and get them off water before transportation in an effort to have them travel well. We all know what the cattle market is doing so here is a chance to polish them up, let them calve out and either retain or turnover. On this property in this sale there are four lots being offered to allow buyers the opportunity to fill truck lots.

Been running in forestry type country on a very dry coverage of native summer grasses with just a light cover of winter herbages from recent rainfall. Vendor has only seen 125mm for the year so far. Currently being supplemented with Anipro.
