AS & KM Cain, Heywood, Vic will offer a quality line of 25 EU accredited Red Angus & Angus X Cows, August/September 2022 & 2023 drop. PTIC to commence 20th of August for 6 weeks, bulls were put in on 20/11 and taken out 30/12 (42 days). Cows are SAV and GAR bld, and pregnancy tested in calf by Brad Pickford on 3/6/26 to sons of SAV Rainmaker & GAR Hometown, which are low to moderate birth weight, with high growth rates. These Cows weighed from 364 to 586 kgs to ave 459kgs, they will present in store condition and will come with nice upside if you have feed and can manage calving. Oakbank cattle are run at high stocking rates with the core cow herd medium/moderate frame, with the aim for progeny to have high-explosive growth rates to target feedlot markets. Note all these Cows were bred from either Angus or Angus X Cows and have thrown to a red gene along the way.
