These cows were easy to handle. The odd cow was a bit quick when singled out but settled in the mob. During assessment all cows were mouthed and it more than often upsets the recipient. As a result some cows were naturally unsettled over the scales.

Assessor Comments
Offering 26 Angus and Angus cross mixed age PTIC cows. These cows were purchased in as a part herd reduction sale via the Tamworth saleyards. They were sold as 4-8 years of age and consisted of vendor bred and purchased cows. They had calves weaned the day of purchasing, were station mated and presenting in light store condition due to the tight seasonal conditions. They have improved out of sight since arriving and have been on a rising plane of nutrition to date. They were drenched, vaccinated with 5 in 1 and received an AD and E, B12 and Multimin shot after they were healthy enough to be handled after arrival. They were preg tested in calf on 27/05. They were running with Angus and Santa Gertrudis Bulls and are estimated to be 5-7 months in gestation. 100% were mouthed at assessment with any broken or faulty mouths removed to be sold. The balance represent the ages listed and would all be capable of rearing this calf and another if needed. They averaged 460kg after being yarded early in the morning for assessment. Presenting the opportunity for a trade at a low value entry level for anyone looking to utilise excess feed and make a dollar. Reasonably reserved. Please note the station mated sisters are being offered in today’s sale also.
