Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Fairly sensible females that have received plenty of handling. On agistment & being run under station conditions. Very easy to muster, mob up and drove (Heifers walked 14km to the yards the day before). All females were yarded, drafter, weighed and assessed quite easily, just a few getting a bit impatient in the crush towards the end of the day, wanting to rock back and fourth and stomp on the scales. These females were listed above as stirry/slightly stirry respective of their behaviour.

Assessor Comments
Females that would have been retained and calved down, unfortunately a change in circumstances these females were brought to the area on agistment and are being sold direct from farm. This line of females consists of both vendor bred heifers, & carefully selected brought in heifers, all sticking to the Te Mania genetics. PTIC to high-end select Te Mania sires for a short Mid April - Mid May calving. This is an ideal line of females for anyone wanting to introduce some superior genetics into their program. Or calve down & take advantage of the buoyant heifer & calf market. Buyers Note. These females walked 14km to the yards & received an overnight curfew - please consider this in your delivery adjustments. At a minimum 2 females presented with a white patch on their flanks/udders. At a minimum 3 Heifers presented with blue eyes, not deemed detrimental..
