Assessor Comments
Genuine herd dispersal. An outstanding line of very well bred Angus front paddock breeders, 4.6 - 4.8 years old to commence calving mid-July with their 4th calf. The length and depth of body of these females are a true representation of some of the best commercial Angus cattle in North West NSW. Bloodlines descend from Wattletop, Bald Blair, Eastern Plains and Glenavon Angus. Progeny of this herd has won Champion Pen of Steers & Heifers in New England weaner sales. The vendor is retaining this year's heifers as a core future breeding herd, whilst the weaner steers topped the market in March. With an average weight of 766kgs, these large-framed females will continue to produce excellent results. Cows were joined over a tight 8 week period with bulls put in on 5 October 2025 and taken out on 30 November 2025. 100% conception rate. Due to commence calving mid-July 26 Remaining 30 females (1 year younger) will be offers in the coming weeks or by negotiation. Cows were originally EU
