Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Very lovely line of young females to handle, could not fault them at any phase of assessment. Quiet to yard, brought up by a single handler, self loaded into the race and crush. All very senseless on the scales, and all exited at a walk. Brought through a 2nd time once the vet arrived, and again, no nonsense, which is very rare for young cattle, and very rare to be so calm on a 2nd go through the crush. Heifers with the temperament to be a joy to own and calve.

Assessor Comments
A lovely line of heifers that tick so many boxes - Temperament however, would have to be the standout! Along with excellent structure and do-ability (having averaged 1.18kg over the past 90 days, in a lock up, pre-calving paddock) These heifers will grow out to be big strong matrons! Averaging 527kg, on the do, and without being fat. Originally sold in the Carcoar Premier Blue Ribbon sales as weaners, these heifers were bred in the renowned cattle producing cold country and carry the very good Gilmandyke and Mundarra Angus Blood lines. Joined to Low Birth Weight Jade Park Angus Bulls, with not long to wait until poddies start hitting the ground and you can see some return on your investment. These are a lovely line of females that would make an excellent article to retain as breeders, or alternatively, calve down in the coming weeks and take advantage of the buoyant Heifer and Calf market.
