Cattle are in strong store condition, there are 13 calves at foot with this mob, which is contributing to some of the leaner fat scores. Cattle walked well to the yards, and are strong to handle.

Presenting 39 heifers, with 13 having fresh calves at foot, and remaining heifers all having been continuously running with an Angus Bull. This consignment consists of 2 lines of cattle. 21 Angus heifers purchased from Padthaway, SA in 2024 as 7 month old heifers, these cattle consisting of 7 two tooth and 14 four tooth cattle.
The remaining 18 heifers were bred on the vendor’s Wentworth property, these comprise of 9 milk teeth and 9 two tooth heifers.
There is one Red Angus heifer, with the balance being pure black Angus heifers, 4 showing signs of slight Angus cross.
These cattle have been on agistment in Far West NSW.
They just need feed! With 13 calves at foot, and the remaining heifers having every opportunity with the bull, its a great opportunity to source affordable, young breeding cattle with a head start on a return. The cattle have been well handled, and are quiete to work through yards. 1 heifer had slight cloud on eye, will treat with terramycin.
