Cows are doing an excellent job on their calves, resulting in being light in condition. They showed plenty of strength and energy through the yards. Suitable to travel interstate, but buyers must make their own allowances. FIT TO LOAD STANDARDS will apply.

The cows and calves were very good to handle, being brought up the cooler and through the yards, calves were drafted off at assessment and they also handled the race very well.

Assessor Comments
41 Cows & Calves. The cows are doing an excellent job on their calves. Mixed-age cows ranging from 3 to 14 years, with approximately 75% being 7–14 years old. Calves are 4–10 weeks old and weighed from 44 to 114kg to average 74kg, with 18 males and 23 females. Calves are by Angus bulls, with the cow herd showing a strong colour throwback in the calves. These cows are from a fertile herd that has been control mated for the past 15 years. A great split opportunity, with the cows unjoined and having room to move forward, while the calves are expected to grow into quality weaners. Calves have not yet been marked or branded but are NLIS tagged. Please note the above mentioned faults and lifetime traceability details. Since assessment, the buffalo flies have moved on.
