Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These heifers were put through the crush the day prior to assessment to be backlined for pretreatment. They came through again and it did cause the odd one of them to become slightly stirry when being pregnancy tested. They settled pretty quickly once reunited with the main mob. Buyer urged to allow heifers on arrival time to settle before showing them the "bush gate". Nothing in the mob considered aggressive.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, an opportunity to purchase some very good quality heifers that are ideal to replenish a breeder herd for the long term. Heifers presented in excellent condition and show plenty of growth and weight for age, softness and carcass traits with depth of barrel and length of body. Heifers are a picture of health and there was no tick identified at assessment so would expect these to clear on Tuesday 21st but no guarantees can be issued. Buyer asked to await confirmation of clearance prior to sending the truck. These will suit local buyers where the feed is plentiful and reduced freight costs. It must be noted, there are an additional 52 Droughtmaster heifers in the sale only 10kms away to make up a light road train. There were an additional 5 straight Droughtmaster heifers removed from the other lot and put into these to even out the loads and they are not included in the photos and video.
