Assessor Comments Team Te Mania Angus PTIC Cows that are EU accredited & rising 5 & 6 year old & due to begin calving late-August for 6 weeks. Cows are out of the heart of the Ardgartan herd with 23 head rising 5 year old & 21 rising 6 year old. These cows were selected on type with the lighter/ plainer / smaller frame cows removed. Cows averaged 579kg full (512-696kg) at assessment without carrying any extra condition. The Ardgarton herd use industry leading Bulls with a balanced breeding focus on the key commercial traits as part of the Team Te Mania program. Please note; three head with old eye scars, one with a small amount of white on the flank & some cows showing some rubbing (mainly on neck & rump). Vendor will re Preg test prior to delivery for buyer confidence. These cows are showing the effects of the Western Districts winter but will fill out into very classy outfits with a spring on them and are bred to perform!
