The cows present as generally well handled and workable. Vendor has been increasing handling frequency to further improve temperament. Some cows can become stirred under pressure and may show fast or flighty behaviour at times, with a tendency to look for an escape route away from handlers. No aggressive cattle were observed during assessment.

Assessor Comments
A quality line of 44 PTIC Angus cows, all carrying pure Landfall Angus bloodlines and joined for their third calf. Cows are due to commence calving in August over an 8 week period. These females originate from the renowned Glenfalloch Station breeding program, where no expense has been spared on genetics, resulting in a well bred and productive article with plenty of future ahead of them.
These cows are being offered due to seasonal conditions and being surplus to vendor requirements. An opportunity to secure proven young breeders with strong maternal background and excellent breeding potential going forward.
Temperament should be noted, with some cows showing fast and reactive behaviour when pressured and would be best suited to operators with sound cattle handling experience. Cattle are not aggressive, however some can become stirred and look for an avenue away from handlers. With continued regular handling they are expected to settle further and develop into reliable, long term breeding females and excellent mothers for years to come.
