Assessor Comments
47 Quality Angus Cows, PTIC to Waitara Angus bulls. Coming up to their second calf. These cows are true blue, young breeders, for genuine sale. This lot are either vendor bred or purchased in as hfrs of top quality. Waitara sires used for all calves and a large majority of the females. Waitara's breed objectives as a stud are: 1. Fertile, easy calving females (that calve at two years old and every year after) 2. High growth rates whilst maintaining softness 3. A balance of desirable carcass attributes 4. Structural soundness for maximum longevity 5. Balanced EBVs These young cows will continue to grow and mature into good to excellent quality cows. Cow herd average weight for Haddon Rig breeders is in the 6-700kg bracket. Ideal as young replacements or an excellent footstool into the cattle industry. Quiet young cows that will be an asset to any operation. 24 - 4 year old sisters and 26 - 5 year old sisters all in this sale.
