Assessor Comments
These cows are a very handy line of aged cows that are doing a great job on their calves. The heaviest calves assessed were well over 200 kg. There are only 7 calves under 100 kg. As mentioned in the assessment there were two cows observed with broken mouths whilst the others were ground down but sound. There was one cow with a lump under its neck and another with part of its cloven hoof missing, these were not affecting either cow. There were 8 bull calves and 9 heifers calves unmarked. The balance of the calves are all marked. As mentioned in the comments the cows will be curfewed off water and fed good quality hay to prepare them properly for transport.
