They were easy to move amongst at assessment with only the very small number which could be described as anxious.

A mixed composite line of young females with calves at foot. To many breed components to list. There are 32 black coated heifers in group. All purchased for MSA feeding program and found to be in calf at induction. ***ONLY 7 of the HEIFERS have had a HGP - NO CALVES IMPLANTED.*****
One calf with weeping eye and will be patched if condition worsens. No impact on performance. 80% of mothers showing medium to well rounded udders with 20% low in milk.
Young breeders and calves of mixed breed with youth on their side. Calves range from 1 to 12 weeks and are of multiple breed. Calves are predominantly fresh coated with 20% fair quality being finer boned. Calves slowly getting used to high energy milk. 3 calves given a Drax & 1 given Dexapent & Engemycin treatment at assessment to boost health.
