A Bdouble of young store cows out of the renowned Sherwood Pastoral herd. These cows represent the surplus 2.6 year olds that didn't go back in calf after having their first calf due to very tough seasonal conditions. These cows have just had calves weaned off them 3 weeks ago and would pick up quickly if given the feed.
These cows are either vendor bred on Hazeldean bloodlines or purchased off Hazeldean itself as weaners in 2024. Lot represents an ideal fattening opportunity or to get going forward and join for an Autumn calving. All mouthed at assessment and all 2-4 teeth with most of the cows painted 4 teeth only just cutting. 20% tail removed at assessment.
