71 Quality Angus Cows, PTIC to Waitara Angus bulls. 5 1/2 years of age.
These cows are true blue, young breeders, for genuine sale. This lot are either vendor bred or purchased in as hfrs of top quality.
Waitara sires used for all calves and a large majority of the females.
Waitara's breed objectives as a stud are:
1. Fertile, easy calving females (that calve at two years old and every year after)
2. High growth rates whilst maintaining softness
3. A balance of desirable carcass attributes
4. Structural soundness for maximum longevity
5. Balanced EBVs
These young cows averaged 567kg at assessment, have not long had large weaners taken from them and are filling out nicely after a tight summer. Will average well north of 600kg in a reasonable season.
Ideal as young replacements or an excellent footstool into the cattle industry.
Quiet young cows that will be an asset to any operation.
