CATTLE HANDLED WELL AT ASSESSMENT BY EXPERIENCED STOCKMEN, THEY HANDLED WELL IN THE BIG YARDS, SOME ANIMALS BECAME STRESSED WHEN IN SMALLER YARDS (FORCE AND ROUNDYARD) AND WHILE IN THE CRUSH. CATTLE QUICKLY SETTLED WHEN BACK IN THE MOB IN A LARGER YARD AGAIN.

77 PTIC ANGUS AND ANGUS/ BRANGUS CROSS HEIFERS AND COWS THAT HAVE BEEN JOINED TO DROUGHTMASTER BULLS. ALL CATTLE IN THIS LOT WERE PURCHASED FROM SOUTHERN QLD AS PTIC'S AND JOINER HEIFERS IN JULY 2025, MOST HAVE RAISED AND WEANED A CALF ON WYENA AND ARE NOW BACK IN CALF TO DROUGHTMASTER BULLS. CATTLE WEIGHED 326KG-550KG TO AV 420.4KG AT ASSESSMENT, ALL CATTLE WERE MOUTHED AT ASSESSMENT WITH 63 HEAD SHOWING 2-6 TEETH AND 14 8 TOOTHS. A LARGE PORTION OF THE HEIFERS AND COWS IN THIS ASSESSMENT HAVE JUST WEANED A WEANER, ARE IN STORE CONDITION AND ARE READY TO GO AHEAD ON GOOD FEED. THESE CATTLE WERE PRE-TREATED AT ASSESSMENT AND WILL BE OFFERED CLEAR OF THE DIP CLERMONT SALEYARDS FOR TICK FREE BUYERS. DELIVERY IS ON-FARM FOR ALL OTHER PURCHASERS.
