Heifers were easily walked around in yards, 5 heifers became slightly stirry on scales in crush calming quickly once out and back with their mates. Nothing showed aggression.

Buyers opportunity to purchase young preg tested Drakensberger heifers. The Drakensberger is an ancient Sanga breed of South Africa, black in colour with a smooth coat, long and deep bodied medium to large framed cattle. They have heat tolerance and have great parasite resistance along with minimal eye problems. These 8 heifers (vendor also has 7 NDP heifers in todays weaner and yearling sale) have been preg tested in calf. If given the opportunity these girls should no doubt become great matrons. Please not 4 heifers seen with various patch of white on their udders, 1 seen with some warts on neck. Heifers are young, mouthed 1 at assessment and she was sound milk tooth.
