In calf to low birthweight, calving ease and high IMF sires - see joining sire links attached. The Boona herd focuses trait selection on fertility, ease of calving, growth (+120 for 600 day) & marbling (+4 IMF). The herd is recognised for turning off large lines of steers that rank in the top tier for performance, allowing them to achieve market premiums and annual steer offtake agreements from high end feedlots.
