U (2023) DROP PTIC COWS IN CALF TO AI SIRES TE MANIA UNGARIE & TE MANIA QUBIC TO CALVE AUGUST/ SEPTEMBER. Wave Hills are one of the most progressive Angus herds in the country, with the latest genetics introduced annually through an artificial breeding program (no bulls on the property since 2017). This enables the herd to access the elite Te Mania genetics and rapidly increase genetic gain. These young cows present in excellent order displaying all the desirable qualities of the breed. AI sires have consistently been selected for high growth and carcass traits with recent long-fed steer consignments marbling at an average of 4.5 & over 450kg cwt - please see links to the AI joining sires which highlight the combination of high growth & IMF selected for in the herd. A truly remarkable opportunity to purchase some of the best Angus genetics in the country out of the heart of the Wave Hills herd. Please note, Wave Hills are offering another line of mixed age cows in this sale.
