Buyers on offer, 40 F4 - Pruebred Wagyu heifers Account Greystonlea Pty Ltd.
The majority of these Heifers have come from the Hornery base herd established in the early 90's
where Haruki 2, Michifuku and Itoshiginami were used in an artificial insemination breeding program.
Heifers were retained and crossed back with milk producing sires and so the story goes alternating to ensure frame and marbling were balanced, thus yield and quality a priority to impress the market.
With over 30 years in the industry with proven genetics the cattle have performed year in year out. Carcases have achieved 9+ as a regular outcome. Full blood trading in the early days has infusions of Blackmores and Macquarie Downs genetics notably the Aizakura cow lines.
The current offerings dams were joined to bulls by Sumo 126, 154 and Marble Max bulls
