Very easy Steers to handle in the yards a couple played up in the crush but nothing unusual there. The videos was taken after they had been weighed and assessed so that will tell the story. Overall well handled cattle.

80 Very good quality weaned steers that are on the move . Steers that have the frame and scope to put a lot of weight on. The steers were yard weaned on the 6th of March , educated to the yards and worked through the race. After weaning they have been handled with dogs. These steers are the lead of a 650 head cow herd and have been drafted into a tight weight range of 70 kg.The cows have been selected with a focus on growth, conformation and temperament. Landfall bulls have been introduced in the last few years and you can see the length and conformation coming through in the steers.The season was very tight until late December and has improved significantly since hence the weight is not as high as previous years. NOTE Depending on truck configuration the 80 should fit onto two decks, under our fit to load obligations we will hold back some if necessary.
