Assessor Comments
A very well bred line of Angus heifers that are displaying adequate frame and weight for age.. The Cadarga Springs heifers are sired by AI Pathfinder & Nampara Angus sires as well as Murdeduke Angus bulls with selection based on 400&600 Day Growth, Birthweight and Calving ease. Heifers are February/March/April 2024 drop and have battled through the winter with minimal supplementary feeding. The Cadarga Springs heifers have been noted for their performance in both grassfed & grainfed programs. Heifers have been preg tested empty having been exposed to bulls for a 9 week joining. Heifers are displaying varying levels of rubbing and have been drenched 12/8. Please note 2 heifers observed with white around udder with 1 displaying white on/around the naval and 1 heifer observed to have old pink eye scarring in 1 eye.
