Assessor Comments
On offer is an outstanding line of 105 June/July 2024 drop Angus Steers offered by the Bunting Family. These steers have been grown out to heavy feeders every year for the last 25 years and this is the first time in that period they have been offered as lighter weights. Approximately 40% of these steers have been sired by AI sires Clunie Range Queenslander Q311& Sitz Stellar 726D with the balance by top quality Bannaby Angus bulls. At assessment these calves were weighed from 275kg plus with the top weight of 402kg. This is the lead draft of this drop of steers with a 15% tail removed. These calves have not only the genetic ability; but they also present with all the bone and length required to eventually reach domestic and export slaughter weights. An opportunity not to be missed.
