Assessor Comments
A very well bred line of Angus steers that have plenty of room for compensatory gain. The Cadarga Springs steers are sired by AI Pathfinder & Nampara Angus sires as well as Murdeduke Angus bulls with selection based on 400&600 Day Growth, Birthweight and Calving ease. Steers are February/March/April 2024 drop and have battled through the winter with minimal supplementary feeding. The Cadarga Springs steers have been noted for their performance in both grassfed & grainfed programs and given favourable conditions would turn inside out. Please note 1 steer observed with white around pizzle and 4 steers observed to have old pink eye scarring in 1 eye.
