Excellent to handle in the open pens, all walked through the yards with no fuss. A handful pushed a bit in the race and wanted to get out of the crush. None jumped up in the race or the crush.

90 vendor bred (B double load) Angus heifers all weighed 350kg -441kg to av 381kg full. They are Aug / Sep drop 24 and are sired by Chiltern Park Angus bulls which have been used for the past 5 years, based on banquet bld before that. They have performed exceptionally well over the past 2 months on the Kale. Before weaning the cows were fed 4 times per week vetch hay, silage and almond hull. Weaned in mid April they have been fed every day, receiving Almond hulls, silage, vetch hay and straw. At the end of June they were moved onto a Kale crop whilst maintaining the supplementary feeding. They are in forward condition and are carrying plenty of condition. High quality angus hfrs that would suit a breeding program or a feeding program. 4 hfrs have small white patches on their udder.
