Steers were good to handle through the assessment period. These cattle poked through the yards with only 4 becoming slightly agitated when excessive force was applied. 5 steers were unsettled in the crush but settled once back in the mob.

Buyers, a run of Vendor bred Angus x Santa, black coated steers, To be offered as 2 even runs out the gate of 47. Steers weighed 180 - 296Kg to average 234Kg at assessment. Cattle present in store condition and would be an ideal article to put straight onto a crop to grow into feedlot weights. With a rising plane of nutrition these steers should have large compensatory gain. Steers are out of Angus and Angus Cross cows sired by "Watasanta" Angus X Santa bulls. Steers have all responded well to the recent flush in feed and have received an oral drench. 2 steers were treated at assessment for slight weeping with terramycin (photos attached). Steers will be evenly split through the crush at delivery. For further information please call.
