Assessor Comments
Offering 340 Steers in 3 lines of 4 deck runs, drafted into types, this being a line of reds 120 Santa/Droughtmaster X Steers. Steers with plenty of frame and good weight compensatory gains to be had by the purchaser. They were purchased in April/May and have been running on agistment at Longreach. Treated with Iverlab Drench, 5 in 1 and Multimin Gold and have been supported on Rumevite Maxie Breed lick for the past two months. With the season cutting out, the steers are being offered for sale earlier than intended. A sample of 30 head were mouthed, with 43 Milk Teeth and 7 Two Teeth. The older and bigger types were mouthed so this is not a reflection of the whole mob's teeth. Steers were mustered on Sunday 13th into a holding paddock, then walked into the yards and drafted on Monday 14th. They were weighed mid morning Tuesday, with photos taken before being walked back to their paddock. They are being offered with two other runs of 4 decks of Angus X Steers and 4 decks of Euro X types. With all three mobs being boxed until delivery, they will need to be delivered on the same day. Buyers are asked to be cooperative with delivery arrangements and dates. If there are any questions or concerns please contact the assessor.
