These heifers are very well handled and are a credit to the vendor. They flowed through the yards well. The heifers marked as slightly stirry only became agitated when pressure was applied and quickly settled once pressure was released.

Buyers, here is a light 6 deck line of very good quality flatback heifers. These heifers come from a herd with a very good reputation for quality cattle that perform very well on both grass and grain. They have a live weight range of 400kg to 520kg with an average of 427.1kg at assessment. These heifers show strong frame, adequate bone and are ready to power ahead once given the opportunity on good feed. 100% of this mob were mouthed and are mainly milk tooth, there are three 4 tooth heifers in this mob that are age branded number 4’s, the balance are number 5 heifers. This lot would be ideally suited to enter the feedlot however, would also perform well on grass and would finish well into the grassfed slaughter market. Please note these heifers are located in a cattle tick infested area, they have been pretreated with dectomax injectable to assist with the clearing for potential tick free purchasers. It will be the purchasers responsibility to ensure all cattle tick regulations are followed. Please note the same vendor has two other lots in this sale.
