Buyers these heifers were a pleasure to draft and assess. They are very quiet with plenty of time going into their weaning and education. Only a small % got unsettled in the crush and quicker in the pound. Quiet, well handled heifers. Please refer to my videos for each lot to showcase their steady quiet nature in the yards. Buyers please consider this genuine line of 191 Droughtmaster no.5 heifers (6 decks). Weighing from 283-419 kgs to average 344 kgs at assessment after an overnight wet curfew. This line is 1 of 3 mobs from the vendor in this sale, with this line drafted for their darker pigment. They have been pre treated for ticks with Baymec LV pour-on, with no visual sign of adult tick at assessment. For tick free buyers the vendors will guarantee delivery clear of the on farm certified plunge dip at "Pindari". They were a pleasure to handle/assess and i have full confidence they will go on and perform. Ideal heifers to take out into heavier feeder weights or finish or draft through and select replacements and join to the bull of your choice. Buyers please note when they were on the cow they and their mothers had access to dry lick which had a rumen modifier in its ingredients, heifers not PCAS eligible. The vendor has 2 more lines of heifers in this same sale. Preg tested empty by a vet.

These heifers have been grazing in paddocks of Buffel, purple Pidgeon and native grasses that have seen a good season. Paddocks are starting to hay off at present and heifers are doing very well.
