Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of vendor bred Angus yard weaned heifers with good weight for age in the current conditions. Mostly medium frame with 2 smaller frame. Good conformation, they are not carrying any excess condition. As weighed at assessment they were 235-343kg 3 hours off feed with an estimated delivery weight of 286kg. They are ideal to finish on grass or grain (after backgrounding) for quality domestic or export slaughter markets, or the top 60% could be grown and joined as future breeders (no heifers are being retained this year). They were yard weaned on 19/04/26 and are extremely quiet. They are educated to hay racks. Located right on the Barwon Highway approx 15 km west of Goondiwindi, they would be easy to link into any carriers moving in any direction through Goondiwindi.
