Assessor Comments
A great opportunity to secure a good quality even line of backgrounder heifers, with rain around the corner and ryegrass and oat crops being planted now these cattle are the perfect fit. Heifers were purchased as weaners from the New England area in October of last year and have continued to grow out well, heifers will make perfect backgrounders to carry through to heavier weights. Heifers present in good condition and given some continuous good feed should continue to grow out nicely, heifers to suit all domestic feeder grids or great articles to finish for the domestic or export slaughter markets. An unfortunate sale only due to feed cutting out due to the dry conditions were cattle are located. An ideal line of backgrounders that are perfect articles to take through the autumn months on crop to turn off in the spring, beat the rush and secure your winter backgrounders now.
