Heifers were good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Six head were agitated when in the crush and exited quickly. When back in the yard together most were settled and remained quiet while being photographed, a handful would run when pressured.

A line of vendor bred, EU accredited PTE domestic weight Heifers. These heifers would normally be crop or pasture finished for the lighter end of the EU Grasslands slaughter market, vendor is only selling due to the season. With mostly medium to large frames & 5% small frame they suit to take onto and finish for the domestic supermarket trade. They were all mouthed at assessment with 6 x 2 tooths (most just breaking) and 48 x milk tooths. They are from a cow herd made up of Angus, Shorthorn & Santa Composite cows. Sired by Angus, The Grove Shorthorn and Gyranda Santa bulls, selected on carcase attributes & growth EBVs. All heifers were preg tested by a vet 08/09/26, with all 54 head Not Detectably Pregnant. Please note 45 similar weight steers this property this sale to make a light road train.
