Steers over all were easy to handle in and around the yards, there were a small amount of steers that were unsettled when confined through the process but settled nicely once back in the mob.

A very good quality line of Vendor bred EU Angus yearling steers coming from a very strong breeding program. The Ross family pride them selves in breeding Quality cattle that consistently meet the needs of feedlots, Bred from quality New England Genetics including Gates Performance and Kilburnie Angus. Steers are Grass Fed/Antibiotic free, coming off improved pasture steers present in good forward store condition and offer some good compensatory weight gains. Steers weighed an avg of 415 kg full and show thickness, length & stand on good bone providing many options, ideal feeders for a short or a long fed program or grass finishing , these steers will accommodate all markets. Seasonal conditions sees these steers going at earlier weights than usual offering a great chance to buy a very good quality line of well bred EU Angus steers that will go forward and preform. Performance bred EU steers that tick all the boxes !!
