Assessor Comments
A quality line of Angus steers displaying plenty of frame, good length and excellent weight for age. These cattle have grown out well throughout the season and present as steers that should respond exceptionally well to high-quality feed, with strong potential for compensatory weight gain. Buyers should note that a portion of the steers were marked later than others, which is evident in the line. Given the seasonal conditions experienced over the past 3–4 months and the stage of growth these steers are currently in, this is not considered detrimental and should have little impact on their ability to reach target feeder or slaughter weights. Overall, a genuine line of young Angus steers with significant performance potential 72 Angus Steers average 343.7kg after curfew, with weights ranging from 307kg to 440kg.
