Assessor Comments
Here presents a line of Crossbred mickeys/steers (68 mickies, 8 steers). These cattle present in store, to forward store condition and given the right opportunity would perform very well for the successful purchaser. These males were weaned two weeks prior to assessment and left in a holding paddock, being fed hay, faber beans & molaffos, where they will remain until delivery. Males would normally be castrated and grown out to export weights but due to the current dry seasonal conditions, are being offered as backgrounders. Ideal males to castrate and background for domestic or export markets. Buyers please look at photos for own breed assumptions, vendor has a herd based on multiple breed crosses. Buyers please note five head carry old pinkeye scarring, mainly just a blue dot with one having a full cloud in one eye.
