Steers worked well through yards and were a pleasure to handle with only a couple becoming slightly agitated in the crush but settled quickly once returned to the mob

Buyers a rare opportunity presents itself to secure a run of store condition ,Vendorbred steers that tick all the boxes EU, USDA,NOP ORGANIC , GAP certified and Teys Grassland accredited .These steers are out of large framed Santa ,Simmental Angus cross cows by Santa ,Simmental and Angus bulls ,they show good bone and frame and present in store condition due to a very dry summer/autumn period with big compensatory gains to be had. Ideally suited to take through to the Lucrative Organic feeder or slaughter market or alternatively for the conventional buyer to go through to grass bullocks as no grain or Hgp to suit all premium markets. The Maranoa River cattle have a great reputation with repeat buyers when normally taken through to slaughter weights but unfortunately due to failing season they have come to the market as backgrounders. Please note this is a 3 deck line drafted as a run out the gate of 6 deck line. Two steers observed with one cloudy eye from old blight scar and one with horn on one side (still well inside ear) Vendor has 2 decks heavier brothers this sale.
