Generally, steers moved well through the yards during the assessment process. 8 steers pushed through the race towards the crush but were calm once through the draft and back with the mob. Some steers were flighty when applying force to move them around the yards but then walked calmly for photos and videos.

Assessor Comments
On offer is an exceptional line of weaned Angus steers. These steers are the lead draft of Taberner Pastoral Co's spring calves and come with the highest recommendation. We are selling 154 steers in total as a run out the gate in two lots of 77 head. Steers were weighed out from 301kg- 397kg, are up to date with all their animal health treatments and have been performing well on digit grass. Calves are 7.5 - 9 months, have been weaned since the 15th of January and are Alloura Angus Blood. Traditionally steers are retained and grown into bullocks but due to the dry season are being sold early. Please note that steers are located 130kms south of Dubbo where the two lots could be consolidated into a road train (we can assist with this if need be). A great opportunity to purchase a large run of 1-mark steers that are renowned performers.
