Heifers handled very well throughout assessment. All brought up from the backyards by a couple of green backpackers without any hassle. Led up the race well, were quiet on the scales, and those that were mouthed, were very behaved, with 105 out of 106 heifers exiting the crush at a walk! Exceptionally calm, well mannered young heifers that were a pleasure to handle and would settle in to any new environment easily.

An exceptional line of young pure Te Mania Angus blood heifers offered for sale by Ardenside Angus. Majority of these heifers were originally part of the ‘keeper draft’ and were put out with the bulls, however, did not conceive (mainly due to an unforgiving 2025 Spring and heifers slipping in condition) Now, in forward store condition, and on a rising plane of nutrition, the option lies with the sucessful purchaser to aim these heifers at the bunkers and start on a feed ration, or give them another opportunity with the Bulls this Spring, this time, with the season on their side. Boasting a long, rich history of 40+ years of select Te Mania Angus genetics. With the steer portion always being highly sought after by top end feedlots, and having a reputation for restaurant quality performance at the other end. These heifers would suit to go either way with and have the reputation to perform in any chosen market.
