Assessor Comments
Offering a line of Angus x Angus and Angus cross (5hd) heifers ideal for a winter/spring trade. They were purchased earlier in the year as part of the annual backgrounding program but are being sold due to vendors having since purchased sheep. They have acclimatised to the area and are carrying a soft winter coat and are on the do. There are 60 head that are 2 marks only, purchased off Auctionsplus and out of the saleyards. The balance were purchased out of the saleyards (in the New England) to fill the truck and all arrived at the same time. Their health treatments are up to date and they are in a withhold for a fluke drench. 100% weighed 178kg plus after a 6 hour curfew with the tail retained. Weaners that are perfectly set up for the winter and with feed will continue to gain weight from arrival.
