Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These weaners responded well to pressure and have had some education following arrival. The odd heifer was slightly quick when coming into the round yard for drafting - typical of weaners. Following being handled they settled as normal: Some problem heifers were removed as a result of temperament. Refer video for when the weaners were settled with space.

Assessor Comments
Offering a b-double load of Angus and Angus cross heifer weaners. They have been rotationally grazing in a larger mob and have been broken with dogs. These heifers have been taught respect and as a result are responsive to pressure but relaxed when pressure is released. Currently grazing fresh ryegrass with clover present and the feed is starting to move as the weather warms. 100% weighed from 220-345kg after a few hours off feed and after being drafted and sexed for assessing. Only selling to make room for younger/lighter weaners as well as point of calving cows. These weaners were sourced from northern NSW and into southern QLD. They are visably on the do with their coats starting to shine and represent the tops of the draft. Now they are acclimatised and given ample nutrition they offer immediate and continued compensatory weight gains. A decent run of heifers that present well as a line.
