Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers were very well behaved to handle. Despite not having been through the yards a great deal, they were all very easy & obliging. Brought from the boggy back yards by a single handler with the occasional help of a dog. All made their way up the race without fuss, stood sensibly on the scales and exited at a walk. Just 1 steer, listed above as slightly stirry, that was a bit anxious on the noisy scales, and did some jumping about. Very sensible in the holding paddock for photos & videos.

Assessor Comments
The Murra Angus family have been producing Angus cattle for 52 years this year, with the Murra brand Established in 1983. This line of steers are a very nice example of that brand, being long bodied, deep through the rib and heavy boned - meaning they will do what Murra cattle do best - carry a stack of weight and be high yielding finished bodies. Steers that were incredibly easy to handle, despite the trying weather conditions and boggy, hard going yards. Being sensible to handle throughout assessment, and walked quietly out of the yards in to the holding paddock for photos & videos. Buyers please Note - vendor has the sisters in the same sale, as well as a lot of PTIC young cows in the Eastern States Sale.
