Assessor Comments
On offer is a nice line of one-mark EU Angus steers. Steers are 12–15-month-old and drafted into a tight weight range to average 377kg at delivery. At this weight they are suitable for immediate feedlot induction or alternately could be backgrounded further on grass. These steers are well bred with Te Mania and Rennylea bloodlines running through the 3WG cow herd. They have been regularly handled which shines through in their behavior. Steers are up to date with their animal health treatments including a Bovilis MH+IBR shot a few weeks back. The 3WG cattle are renowned performers and have been powering ahead on crop with current weight gains of 1.5kg + per day.
