Assessor Comments
AJ & MJ Jarvis present an outstanding line of 58 Angus X Angus steer calves, representing the lead draft of their 2025 spring drop. These steers showcase the strength of the renowned Jarvis breeding program, combining quality genetics, excellent growth performance, and market versatility. Bred from proven Angus cows and selected for growth, structure, and performance, these steers display excellent length, frame, bone, and softness. They present in fresh forward store condition with tremendous potential to continue growing into highly sought-after domestic or export market specifications. The Jarvis herd is well recognised throughout the Upper Murray for producing genuine doing cattle, and these steers are no exception. The vendor has carefully drafted the lead of the drop, ensuring buyers have access to a consistent and quality line of feeder cattle. All steers have been handled through the yards, with the tail of the group removed, providing buyers with confidence in the overall quality and uniformity of the offering. Grass Fed Accredited Treated with Ultravac 5 in 1 Well handled and managed Please Note: Included in the offering are 7 Black Baldy steers, bred from Angus-cross cows within the herd. These steers blend seamlessly with the remainder of the draft and add additional hybrid vigour to an already impressive line-up. A genuine Upper Murray line of quality steers offering excellent weight
