Majority of steers were a pleasure to handle, quietly moved through yards, race and crush. There is a small minority that when pressure was applied have some run in them and others may follow. Steers were a pleasure to walk back to the paddock.

Buyers on offer is a well presented line of Angus and Angus-cross feeder steers, displaying good depth and presenting majority in forward store condition allowing still for plenty of additional weight gain. All steers were individually weighed, weighing between 361 and 504kg at assessment. Steers are made up of predominantly vendor bred calves (44) based on Milong Angus bloodlines with 17 head purchased as part of cow & calf units last October, out of Hicks Black composite cows and Yukon Park bulls. Steers are September/October 25’ drop and were weaned on the 12th of May, receiving a Dectomax V Dual Combination and a 5 in 1. There are two black-baldy steers, One steer has minor scarring on the eye and another has a cloudy eye. Neither are affecting animal’s vision or performance, with no active pink eye evident. Steers have been running on an oat crop and offer plenty of scope and suitability to continue there weight gain in a feedlot environment. Please ring with any questions.
