Assessor Comments
Offering on behalf of Grice family at "Wongarwil", is the lead draft of the spring 25' drop steers. Approx 75% (45hd) are Angus x Angus, with the balance 25% (16hd) are Angus x Angus/Hereford (F2's). Strs drafted to be all black, with the exception of 2 hd with very small white markings around pizel and flank, so no issues will arise in the future with feedlots etc. Strs are sired by Landfall and Barwidgee sires, bred from cows with Barwidgee and Dunoon blood, with the F2 portion bred from baldy females purchased from local breeder "Ellingerrin". A nice run of steers that are on the move already with the start of spring, and will hit their straps over the next few months.
