Complete drop of the August/September 2025 drop L and J Lewington poll Hereford steers. These steers are starting to shine in the coat and although starting to lay fat cover they are not overdone. They present even as a line and have plenty of stand up to take onto heavy export kill weights if required. Presenting the heaviest they have been in a few years due to the exceptional start to the 2026 season and having not had a set back. They were weighed from 270-424kg after a decent curfew and after having been through the crush 3 times for the day to sort them. As a complete line of mixed sex yearlings they have been averaging around 1kg/hd/day over the last month. They are receiving wheaten hay and have been supplemented Lead up but appear to have had sufficient. Top quality steers that will be ideal to value add for a trade on the back of a very strong spring. Please note vendor is offering their sisters in today’s sale also.
